In the second quarter,Love Nonetheless shipments of AI PCs reached 8.8 million units, accounting for 14% of total PC shipments, according to market research firm Canalys. On the Windows front, shipments of AI PCs grew by 127% quarter-on-quarter. Chinese PC maker Lenovo ventured into Snapdragon X-powered PCs with its Yoga Slim 7x and ThinkPad T14s, increasing its share of AI-capable PCs among total Windows PC shipments to around 6% for the quarter. “Processor vendors and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) are set to target a wider base of customers through new product category availability across more price points,” said Ishan Dutt, Principal Analyst at Canalys.
