Gather ‘round, sisters! Hocus Pocus 2is finally upon us. So, it’s time to put on your finest witch hat and join the Sanderson sisters for another round of running amok! (Amok amok amok!)
The last time we saw Salem’s finest trio, they were mistakenly resurrected by a dangerously curious teenage boy, Max (Omri Katz), who unleashed the curse of the 17th-century witches, Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker), and Mary (Kathy Najimy), on modern times.
What ghastly tricks will the sisters be up to this time around? Here’s everything you need to know.
Hocus Pocus 2is exclusively streaming on Disney+ and is set to hit the service on Sept. 30.
It’s been 29 years since the original events of Hocus Pocus, and the Sanderson sisters are as wicked as ever. Resurrected yet again by high school students, Becca (Whitney Peak), Izzy (Belissa Escobedo), and Cassie (Lilia Buckingham), Salem’s terrible trio plan to wreak even more havoc — and there’s only a group of high schoolers in their way.
Will they succeed? Or are the Sanderson sisters here to stay? There’s only one way to find out.
Early buzz suggests that Hocus Pocus 2will be a hit! Early Twitter reactions are calling the film a magically nostalgic and wickedly fun ride, guaranteed to satisfy all Hocus Pocusfans new and old. Full reviews (including ours) will drop later this week.
