Look, xxx parody movies we get it. Sometimes you want your nachos on the go.
But when it comes to Apple's new $6,000 cheese-grater style Mac Pro, $400 wheels seem like kind of a bit much. And yet, as today's pre-order page reveals, that's exactly what they cost.
Now, importantly, you don't needto add wheels to your order — "feet" are also an option — but if you want to be able to move "your Mac Pro quickly and easily without having to lift it" you're going to need those wheels.
And yeah, they really do cost a cool $400.
It's worth noting that it's specifically the wheels you're paying for. The "feet" version of the Mac Pro, like the wheeled version, comes with a "stainless steel frame" for no extra cost.
But hey, maybe the wheels aren't such a bad add-on after all. Because, and let's be real here, when the revolution comes, anyone with a $6,000 computer (not including the $5,000 monitor or $1,000 monitor stand) is going to need to quickly haul ass to their Xapo-style crypto bunker or risk facing the people's wrath.
Those $400 wheels will make the evacuation process all that much smoother. And, as a bonus, when the power finally runs out, you'll still have quite the cheese grater.
