We might not have cat3moviea Frank Ocean album (your anger is justified) and we're still in the dark about its release date.

But thanks to an Instagram post from the elusive R&B singer's mother, we at least now know he's alive. Phew.

As Vulturepointed out, Katonya Breaux posted an Instagram video featuring he-who-must-not-be-named enjoying some family time (and wine) at a restaurant in New York City.

"Embarrassing my kids is my favorite pastime!!!," she captioned the post.

It's an adorable mother-son moment that shows the singer laughing with family -- the exact opposite of what millions of his fans have been doing for months now.

But hey, while Ocean may have messed with our minds with his brilliant and cryptic marketing strategies, at least he's smiling in spite of these contentious times.

The rest of his mom's Instagram is filled with throwbacks and photos of the two, and may be just the thing to temporarily heal any pain you might be feeling until Ocean's second studio album, Boys Don't Cry, is finally available.
