Snapchat just welcomed another news outlet to its exclusive content network.
The اÙلام تركية eroticeWashington Post launched its first edition of Snapchat Discover Monday, bringing more political and hard news coverage to the app ahead of its initial public offering. The outlet will update their channel throughout the day, seven days a week, cementing itself as Snapchat's first breaking news partner.

The first edition featured an explanatory story on President Donald Trump's travel ban, an exposé on pizza rat and a (very long) question-and-answer with Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, among other stories.
The edition comes shortly after the daily politics channel We The Peoplestopped its run on the platform, as noted by digital strategist Taylor Lorenz.

Discover edition is a more slick prepackaged magazine-like format on Snapchat. The app has 158 million daily active users.
The Post is quite familiar with Snapchat, despite joining as an official Discover publisher two years after the feature's launch. The paper already had a regular Snapchat account that was started in early Jan. 2014.
"A few editors on our social team were using the app personally and pushed our team to experiment on it as a brand," Ryan Kellett, Washington Post audience and engagement editor told Mashable, last month.
The paper's initial strategy involved callouts, such as asking readers to send their own photos and videos from events. The Post also created its own Snapchat Stories and used the product along the campaign trail and the presidential debates and conventions.
"We rely on a few personalities that appear regularly on our Snap stories. Followers see familiar faces that way, which is much closer experience to seeing their friends’ stories," Kellett said.
More magazines and print outlets are joining Snapchat Discover soon. Time Inc. announced last week EssenceandEntertainment Weeklywould have editions, joining Time's People. The New York Timesannounced its channel earlier this month, the same day Snapchat filed paperwork to be a publicly-traded company.
Television networks, including NBCUniversal, ABC/Disney and Turner Broadcasting, are creating exclusive shows for the app.
Snapchat's own show Good Luck America, hosted by Snap's head of news Peter Hamby, returns later this month.
