Hey013 Archives Easter Bunny: you've been put on notice.

Murphy the Goldendoodle is gunning for your gig as floppy-eared distributor of colorful eggs and springtime cheer.

The brown-haired Goldendoodle -- part golden retriever, part poodle -- recently transformed a plastic cone collar into an Easter basket, replete with rainbow-colored filler and plastic eggs (that were hopefully not filled with chocolate candy).

Murphy donned the cone collar on other occasions too, using its plastic perimeter to create a popcorn bowl, or a martini glass.

The dog has amassed a following on Facebook and Instagram by flashing her quirky facial expressions, extolling her love of happy hour, and dropping cheesy puns such as, "Anybunny eggcited?!?"

Murphy's owners, who asked to withhold their names, said they came up with the Easter basket idea a few weeks ago after the Goldendoodle had to wear a cone to keep her from touching an itchy hot spot.

Murphy apparently loved the basket cone and kept up the Easter Bunny act for about an hour, her human counterparts said by email. That's like 1,000 days in dog time.

Her owners said they didn't know which type of Easter candy Murphy would eat if she had the appropriate digestive system, "although she LOVED the carrots and beef jerky she got as a treat for taking the pictures and videos."
