To mark the one-year anniversary of Carrie Fisher and Watch New Son (2020) Korean movieDebbie Reynolds' death, Billie Lourd paid tribute to her mother and grandmother by sharing two touching posts on Instagram.
The 25-year-old actress shared two photos of herself standing in front of the Northern Lights in Norway in honor of Fisher, explaining the significance behind her trip.
"My momby had an otherworldly obsession with the northern lights, but I never got to see them with her," Lourd wrote. "We journeyed to northern Norway to see if we might 'see the heavens lift up her dark skirts and flash her dazzling privates across [our] unworthy irises.' And she did. I love you times infinity."

Using emoji Lourd also spelled out the following iconic quote from her mother: "She drowned in moonlight strangled by her own bra."
The quote comes from Fisher's autobiographical book Wishful Drinking, in which she describes George Lucas debating the presence of bras in space. He claimed that a bra would strangle someone to death, and Fisher noted, "This would make for a fantastic obit — so I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra."
Hours later, to mark the one-year anniversary of her grandmother Debbie Reynolds' death, the actress shared a throwback black and white photograph of the two.

Lourd captioned the photograph "Abadaba," a nickname she appears to have called Reynolds.
Following the deaths on Dec. 27 and 28, 2016, Lourd also went on Instagram to communicate her love for the two women, sharing a photograph of the three of them, writing, "There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby."
