In a blog post, Disney published a first-look video and images of a scale 50-foot wide 3D model of the theme parks currently being built in California and Florida. The finished parks -- set to open in 2019 -- will span an area of 14 acres and are rumored to cost around $1 billion each.
"Both Star Wars-inspired lands will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, where Star Warscharacters and their stories come to life," reads the blog post.

So, what can we expect? Well, even from afar we can spot the signature dome homes and terracotta architecture typical ofStar Wars terrain. In the faraway distance, is that Endor we can spot?
Guests at the theme parks will find themselves at the heart of "two signature attractions." The first allows them to take the reins of the Millennium Falcon on a "customized secret mission." The second: an "epic Star Wars adventure" that places them in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
The models were presented to members of the press at the D-23 Expo 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Rappler published photos and videos of the model, offering an even closer glance for those wanting a more detailed look.
