He has a point -- it was always going to be very, very hard to bring a show as popular as Game of Thronesto its conclusion. Especially one with such a huge fan theory culture.

But hey -- at the time of writing, we have one episode left to go. Maybe that's still enough time to blunt the worst of the criticism with a finale to remember.
