For several traffic offenses, the local law requires people to participate in a day-long training session. Some of such offenses include driving under the influence of alcohol, jumping traffic signals, and driving without a valid license.
"The songs that will be played will give them more space to accept the training part and will make them more receptive and inclined towards the lessons being imparted," an official was quoted as saying, adding that this could help the offenders get "creative satisfaction."
The training session will include "patriotic songs, prayer songs and songs with good emotional value, along with the educational part. These will be played during the training time," the officer added.
According to the official, the proposal of this new law is being mooted and they expect that a tender will soon be presented to get the music systems and other components.
Now that's one unique way to deal with traffic offenders.
