General Motors announced on Monday that its Cadillac brand will unveil the first all-electric Escalade SUV later this year. The EV, which will be called Escalade IQ, "promises the same commitment to craftsmanship, technology and performance" that made Escalade a household name over the last couple of decades, per GM's press release.
Aaaaand that's about all we know, unfortunately.
GM didn't reveal any specs or pricing info for the Escalade IQ. We don't know exactly when we'll find out more, either. Most importantly, there's no indication of what the SUV will actually look like. It's probably safe to assume it'll look something like the regular gas-guzzling Escalade, but until we know for sure, that's just speculation.
