Soon, #BoycottAmazon began trending on Twitter in India, with several people threatening to uninstall the app and give it a negative rating on various app stores.
The products were being sold by a retailer called Rock Bull, but most of the tweets seem to have been directed at Amazon. After the backlash, Amazon reportedly removed most of the products from its site.
