On Monday evening, Reddit user tootsaysthetrain shared a gif in Reddit's r/funny sub. The gif showed a sequence of Snapchats, ranging from when the uploader first spotted a fox down an alleyway to the hectic chase that took place after said fox abruptly snatched his wallet.

Turns out there's a reason literature often depicts foxes as crafty and scheming.

On the plus side, the post clearly made a lot of people happy -- at the time of writing it's had almost 50,000 upvotes on Reddit.
