If there's one Hollywood star you can the rise of eroticism in literaturetrust with something as important as a wedding proposal, it's America's dad, Tom Hanks.
While at an appearance fir the Texas Book Festival, Hanks took on the important role of wedding proposal facilitator in the midst of promoting his new book, Uncommon Type: Some Stories.

During a round of questioning at the event, Hanks reportedly switched things up a bit when he declared he was bored of the audiences questions.
Instead, he mentioned that a Ryan McFarling in the audience had something to ask a woman named Nikki Young. "Nikki, will you marry me?" Hanks said, referring to the question written on a piece of paper he read from.
Of course, she said yes—how can you not with Hanks right there?! According to the Associated Press, Hanks congratulated the couple while on stage.
