The Married Woman Fan Club (2020)#TakeAKnee movement has officially spread beyond football this weekend.
The protest, focused on police brutality and racial justice by Colin Kaepernick, has been taken on by the immortal Pharrell Williams. While performing during "A Concert for Charlottesville: An Evening of Music and Unity" this weekend, the musician took a moment, and two knees, to address the right to protest itself in the face of Donald Trump's incendiary comments.

Just last week, Pharrell spoke boldly about white nationalism during VH1's Hip-Hop Honors: The 90's Game Changers.
"For everybody at home watching this and acting like y'all don't see what's going on out there, you gotta open your eyes," he told the audience.
"Don't think just because they're coming at the African Americans and they're coming at the Jewish community and they're coming at the Hispanics that it can't be you," he explained. "They keep talking about a wall. But the enemy is this divisive mentality. It's on this side of the wall...the white nationalists are walking towards your future. What you gonna do?"
Over the weekend, Stevie Wonder also took a knee (two, technically) while performing at the Global Citizens Festival in Central Park.
You can watch Pharrell's full performance below; his remarks start at the 11:38 time mark.
