The alcohol education charity Drinkaware says Transport for London has a policy that bans passengers from drinking alcohol or carrying open containers of alcohol on public transport including on buses, trams, tubes and the DLR. You can drink and buy alcohol on national trains in the UK though.
Until the stigma of drinking wine on the train gets quashed, we'll always have our 750ml Lucozade bottles.
