After strolling onstage to the theme from Rocky, Biden delivered a stirring, energetic speech that pulled no punches when it came to Donald Trump — including the reality star's Apprenticepast and alleged disconnect with middle-class voters.

"Think about everything you learned as a child," Biden said to the crowd. "No matter where you were raised, how can there be pleasure in saying 'you're fired?'"

"He's trying to tell us he cares about the middle class," Biden added. "Give me a break. That's a bunch of malarkey."

And the crowd went wild.
