We already know that Samsung's Galaxy S8 will be Watch The Fearless Onlinenearly all screen on front, so what's actually on that screen will be pretty important.
Now, SamMobilehas posted screenshots of the Galaxy S8 launcher -- the app that controls what you see on the home screen -- and it's quite different from what we've seen on Samsung phones so far.
SEE ALSO: Samsung's gonna delay the Galaxy S8 again, report saysThe screenshots come from the APK of Samsung's Smart Switch app, which is used to transfer contacts and other content from one phone to another. While there's no guarantee the final version of Samsung Galaxy S8 will actually sport this look, the screenshots look pretty convincing.
Samsung's old interface, TouchWiz, was thoroughly changed and rebranded to Samsung Experience with the advent of Android 7.0 Nougat. But the new interface, though similar, takes the aesthetic a step further.
The home screen has a distinctively minimalistic look, with simple, stylized app icons and no text (it's likely that the actual home screen on the S8 will have text underneath the icons). The icons themselves consist of white lines on a flat-colored background, and the standard Android controls on the bottom of the screen have been redesigned to match the new icons' style.
We've already seen glimpses of the new user interface in leaked images, but this is the first time that we get a thorough look at basically all the icons for Samsung's built-in apps and features.
