On Wednesday, nasty sex videos Fox News shared one of the dumbest takes of our time about Jamie Lee Curtis, star of the Halloween re-boot.
The conservative news outlet tweeted, "Jamie Lee Curtis wields firearms in new 'Halloween' movie despite advocating for gun control." It's sort of like...Fox News has no idea what a movie is. Or, more horrifying, they have no idea how to decipher fact from fiction. Woof.

People were quick to ridicule Fox's argument, reminding us all that loads of actors play people whose views are diametrically opposed to theirs. And, like, that's what acting is.

In the article itself, Fox attempts to call Curtis and other film stars out as hypocrites for being gun control advocates who appear on screen with guns:
But Curtis’s on-screen actions stand in contrast to her real-life persona as an advocate for gun control -- one of several Hollywood actors who use firearms in their films while preaching against them away from the set.
Curtis, of course, isn't gamely playing with guns for a paycheck. Her character is fighting off a murderous villain who is and has been attempting to kill her for years. Also, everything is fake! It's a movie!
Maybe Fox News should focus more on the many problems we're facing in the real world and leave Laurie Strode alone. She's been through enough.
