This will also be the first time MLG's EVE technology is used to with Overwatch.
EVE -- which is an acronym for "Enhanced Viewing Experience"-- was created as a more user-friendly way to watch esports games. Viewers can see realtime player insights, a revamped scoreboard and game-specific stat trackers.
EVE was created with casual players and traditional sports viewers in mind, so it might be a good way to watch this esports tournament if you have't seen one before.
In addition to the Overwatchcompetition, there will be another $100,000 up for grabs in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare tournament. MLG Vegas will also host a first of it's kind esports festival called End Game.
The events will include interactive experiences, live music and surprise guests. You can buy tickets now at the MLG website. MLG Vegas will take place in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino from December 16-18.
