Ever cook a sausage and The Never Ending Love Storyhear a hiss, or a sound that resembles a scream? Well, turns out you're not the only one.

The videos have become something of their own video genre — and truthfully, I'm into them.
The videos at first glance are little more than meat being browned in a pan, or cooked in a microwave, but the tiny little sausage screams, or whistles will make you giggle uncontrollably.
When sausages emit a loud scream or sizzle it's typically a combination of factors, such as water in the sausage evaporating or the sausage's level of fat moisture, British food scientist Stuart Farrimond, a studier of sausage decibels told Extra Crispy in an interview.
