"Sebastian," the card reads, "Feel better, you'll be back in the game very soon. Love Daddy."
Daughter Lily Cardone told us, "[Sebastian] recently tore both ACLs in his hind legs and had surgery last Monday on them. He's been recuperating these past two weeks, and my dad decided to send flowers to him as a surprise."
Poor pup!
"When he first received the surgery, they said it would be an eight-week recovery," Cardone further explained. "He hasn't really walked at all these past two weeks, nor was he allowed to according to the doctor."
No wonder dad felt Sebastian could use a pick-me-up.
The good news is that Sebastian is on the mend. On Thursday, Sebastian's doctor gave the OK for the bulldog to start walking again for a few minutes every day.
"We're going to give him aquatherapy soon by letting him swim in our pool, so hopefully we see more improvement," Cardone said.
We're cheering for you, doggo. We wish you a happy and speedy recovery.
