EA Sports used its motion capture technology to record Ronaldo's skill with the ball, as well as his running style and other physical characteristics. This will be used to make Ronaldo's likeness in the game hyper-realistic and be applied to the game overall.
Working with Ronaldo "helped fuel the biggest leap forward on the pitch that we’ve ever delivered," Aaron McHardy, a senior producer for the FIFAline, said in a press release.
Those waiting to get their hands on the game, however, will have to wait a few months longer.
FIFA 18 launches on Sept. 29 of this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
